Influenced by my grandmother Maria Catalina, growing up in El Salvador, I understand the art of preparing a meal for someone is a special gift. To please the palate with a homemade meal can bring so much pleasure, the ultimate gift to give someone. My enjoyment in senior care is making my residents happy. I spend time with each person to learn their preferences and listen when they have suggestions for me. Working every corner of the kitchen in all positions has allowed me to develop a passion for what I do. I absolutely love to share good food! Could there be a simpler way to unite family and friends? My six year old daughter Lizbeth and I frequently ride our bikes together and look forward to the day my eleven month old son Danny can peddle with us. For now we visit nearby parks and it makes me feel great to see how excited they are around horses. We love our dog Marley, he looks just like the famous dog from the movie Marley and Me. |
